CJ's 1st cooking accident (and if he is anything like his mother, definately not his last...) CJ was helping make dinner and a pot of hot water fell on him. He is such a tough little boy.

You can see where his reef sandles protected his skin. CJ was lucky that his skin didnt blister, it is starting to peel and it looks worse in the picture than it does in real life. The special burn medicine is really helping and he says it "tickles" (it tingles). He thinks its funny that he gets to wear shorts in the rain (pants irritate his skin) and flipflops to school (only tennis shoes are allowed). His older sister dotes on him and brings him anything he asks for, she even sneaks him candy when mom isnt looking.
He is so lucky it wasn't worse. How scary for you!
ReplyDeleteJason burned the palm of his hand when he was less than 1 year old. It just about killed me to see his fear when the bandages were removed.
ReplyDeleteWe love you Calin
