6 flags discovery kingdom

During the summer break we went to 6 Flags Discovery Kingdom with the aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was worth every dollar! We were there for 10 hours until they closed and none of the kids wanted to go home, they were having so much fun!

Waiting in line for our 1st ride of the day "Cobra"

Ready to go!

CJ looks just like his dad!

All wet from a ride

CJ liked touching the sting ray. He was really good at being still and patient so the ray would come near him.

The kids loved the "Tony Hawk" ride... the mom, not so much. I got wicked dizzy.

I think Ashley is getting so pretty

CJ loves putting his hands in the air during a ride

Riding Horses at Aunt Louise's

Mike took the kids to his Aunt Louise's house so the kids could ride horses there just like he did when he was a kid. Ash & CJ had a great time.

cooking w/ Gma Stone

Making caramel and sprinkle coated pretzel sticks, YUM!

I think the boys ate more than they produced...

It's a new school year

It's a new school year and holy-moly 6:30am seems so dang early!
Ashley had an orientation day last wednesday to check out her new school. Jefferson Middle School is an 5th-8th grade school in Tracy, Ca. Ash started the morning nervous but by the time it was over she could hardly wait for the school year to begin!

CJ is nervous about starting at a new school all by himself (Ash is at a school for older kids) but he said he would like it when he gets used to it. He is attending Monticello Elementary School in Tracy, Ca.
There is an hour between CJ's end of school and Ashley's so CJ tried to convince me that we should play at this park (right across the street from his school) every day till its time to pick up Ashley at her school...

Starlene, (mother of the bride) ALisa, Me, Crystal, Andrea

I love my little girl so much

i definitely think he has outgrown his only tie...

CJ found this tree and climbed up and down it over and over and over again while Nikki was in the temple

At the Reception at the Brookside Building-

My bro-in-laws are so silly!

These three have been inseparable all week!

As soon as we got home CJ sat down on the couch to take off his shoes... he didn't get that far...

Swimming at the Henrys

This week we went swimming at least 3 times, the kids fell exhausted into bed every single night.

Addy, Kaylee, Ashley are "B.C.F." they informed us. Best Cousins Forever!

Thank you Crystal for this great picture of Calin!

I was in the house when all of a sudden i heard a bunch of seals "barking". Uncle Jeff had convinced the kids they were seals and he stood on the side of the pool feeding them "seal treats".

I love my sister!

Popsicles are great for teething!

Mickie Grove Zoo

During our week of non stop fun we took the kiddos to the Mickie Grove Zoo to see the animals, have a picnic in the nearby park, and then back to the zoo to feed the Lorikeets.

some of the Lorikeets were so beautiful! (picture taken by Brittany)

Ashs new haircut by Aunt Starlene makes her look so much older! She definitely isn't my little girl anymore, she is definitely a "Tween"

Polly want a cracker???

(or more accurately a little cup of nectar)

Several lorikeets landed on CJ, arms, head, shoulders, and mohawk! I bet you cant guess what the lorikeet did next!...

The first time around the lorikeet habitat Ash didn't want a cup of nectar because she said the birds were going to pee on her so she just watched... until a bird flying over her peed on her arm she grimaced, cleaned off with soap and water, then said "Buy me a cup, since i've already been pee'd on!"

I highly recommend visiting (and feeding) the lorikeets, it was so fun.
