I have the best family ever!

I walked out to my car and found this wicked cute note on my car! Thank you whoever did it!

Yum Yum Yum! our garden is producing!

We've eaten 2 artichokes already this year and cant wait till the next 10 are ready! The plant is very "happy" this year, it has grown taller than me!

There is no better strawberry than one from your own garden! We paired it with cool whip and ate them on top of pancakes. YUM!

Apparently we adopted a Kangaroo...

Princess Leia is so small she can walk through the baby gate that keeps the dogs in the kitchen. So we put a folding table on its side to cover the gate so she couldn't get through, she pushed the table over and walked through anyway. So we put the table back and braced it with her cage... thinking ourselves smart we patted ourselves on our backs.... Till she jumped over the whole darn thing and ate things in the family room while we were gone. So today we placed 2 tables the tall way in front of the gate and put the cage in front... Our fingers are crossed that it will work!

No worries that the dogs wont get along! No matter where Chu-wee is Leia will find him and take up half the space of whatever he is laying on (even if it is CJ!). He is a good sport and tolerates it well.

Our new family member

no im not pregnant! get your mind out of the gutter!

We got a new dog, her name is... Princess Leia!

Its from star wars... just like Chewie (Chewbacca)

We got her from the Stockton Shelter. She is about 1 year old, 9lbs, and is a tan Chihuahua. She looks almost exactly like Chewie. She is a very sweet little girl.

She was recently spayed and has stitches so i brought her to work with me so i could watch her to make sure she doesn't try and bite the stitches out. She slept almost the whole day, she is such a good girl!

Food Storage

Gpa & Gma Stone bought huge bags of food from the church and a bunch of these silver bags so their children could start or add to their food storage. These are the bags my parents and me & my kiddos sealed for us. The kids had a great time learning how to measure and *carefully* pour the food in and they thought the "oxygen scrubbers" were really cool. Thank you mom and dad!

My Butterfly Wall

I've finally got all of my butterfly art up on the wall. Thank you everyone for your contributions for my collage! I absolutely love it! Every time i look at it I remember that so many people love me! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Garden Cake

Grandma Stone was in the process of making a "garden cake" for a ward dinner to discuss the ward garden that is going to go on a section of Gpa&Gma's property. Ash & CJ found out what she was doing and got right in and helped her design and create it. They had tons of ideas and thoroughly enjoyed helping ...(taking over) grandma's project!

Making a pumpkin patch out of orange and 2 different green frostings.

Ash thought that making the leaves was the funnest part.

The finished product was ADORABLE! There were pumpkins, watermelons, cantaloupe, carrots, tomatoes, onions, and green beans on trellises (the kiddos idea). Mom's contribution was a little sign that said "No rabbits allowed".
