my daughter the smarty pants...

Ashley got a letter from the school district saying that she has been accepted into the GATE program for next year (Gifted And Talented Education)! We are so excited... well i'm nervous about the extra hard homework... i mean seriously i already have trouble doing her regular 3rd grade math... 4th grade smarty pants math i think is going to be way past my ability...

Mike and I are so proud of Ashley!

Art Contest Award

Yesterday at school Ashley and other art contest winners (Cousin Lexi Henry & Cousin Addison Stone included) got ribbons and an invitation to a "gallery party" where they can see their art displayed with the other winners. Aunt Crystal was in charge of giving out the ribbons to the kids (no she didn't judge the contest... the Stones are just that good!)thank you grandma for all your help!

Ashley's Valley Days Diorama

Ashley and her Grandma Stone made a "Valley Days Diorama" for a school assignment. They did such a great job! Grandma's are the best!

Her diorama is a Valley Days Schoolhouse. There is a real wood (sticks from the yard) fireplace with "fire", a blackboard, coat rack (with tiny material coats and scarves), and her teacher "Master Delgado" and students. If i were to grade it she would definitely get an "A".

CJ YMCA Basketball

CJ isn't as in love with Basketball as Ash is but he really does like dribbling the ball down the court and shooting baskets.

Ashley YMCA Basketball

Ashley is playing indoor basketball with the Lodi YMCA. She loves it! She is not afraid of getting in the fray and grabbing the rebounds.

I didn't do any photoshop'ing to this photo... this is how the camera made it. I think it looks awesome. It makes Ash look super fast!

Bubble fun

Ash, CJ, and Cousin Auston got to play with bubbles at Grandma Stone's house. Such fun!

The kids thought that these gi-normous bubbles were awesome
